How I learnt about mesothelioma

I learnt that asbestos is used in the cement industry. The small asbestos particles, if they are flying in the air, may be inhaled by the people nearby. In that case, it will cluster around the lungs or any other part of the body. This may lead to a cancer called Mesothelioma. What is really challenging with this cancer is that the symptoms may not appear till 20 years. That makes it very difficult to detect it at an early stage. Consequently, the number of survivors is very low, although there are different forms of treatment including radiotherapy, chemotherapy and many more. I have decided to change my job since then.
